Programs, Resources, Facilities and More
Without the Friends & Foundation of the Library, many of the programs, materials, and facilities Benton County residents expect from our library system would simply not be available. Thanks to our generous community, the Friends & Foundation supports a wide variety of programs, provides significant funds to enhance library collections, and makes critical investments in library facilities.
Programs
All the library’s events are possible thanks to contributions from the Friends & Foundation. Upcoming events are listed on the library’s Events Calendar.
Capital Projects
The Friends & Foundation provides funding to make it possible for the main library and all branch libraries to better meet the needs of library patrons. Recent projects funded through private dollars include enclosing the patio to create new meeting and study rooms at the main library and creating a new play space for our younger visitors in the Brookes Room.
Resources
Maker Space Equipment & Supplies: 3D printing, laser engraving, and vinyl cutting are all available at the library thanks to Friends & Foundation support.
Library of Things: Board games, A/V equipment, craft supplies and more can all be checked out through the Library of Things, which is funded primarily by the Friends & Foundation.
Books and Media: Financial contributions from the Friends & Foundation make it possible for staff to meet the need for updates and enhancements to materials in the library’s collections.
